It is the responsibility of the City of Memphis to provide a safe workplace for all employees. The safety and well-being of employees is of the utmost importance. Our goal is to mitigate or eliminate hazards in the workplace.
Workplace Safety and Compliance is governed by federal and state regulatory entities as well as the City of Memphis policies and procedures. Maintaining a safe workplace is a shared responsibility. We are all safety leaders. Safety requires the active participation of leadership, managers and employees.
