Entry into City Buildings

The health and safety of city of Memphis’ employees, their families, third-party contractors, and the community is a top priority. In accordance with Phase 2 of the Back to Business plan, the City of Memphis is taking active measures to ensure it is maintaining a safe and healthy environment for those entering City of Memphis’ facilities. In that regard, the implementation of screening questions and body temperature checks to gain entry to city of Memphis’ facilities will begin on June 1, 2020.

You are experiencing COVID-19 Symptoms

Due to your current symptoms, it is recommended that you:

  1. Do not report to work.
  2. Contact your manager to advise you will not be at work.
  3. Seek guidance from your Primary Care Physician or the City of Memphis Employee Clinic at 1520 Union Ave for medical assistance.
  4. Contact 901-636-6800 to advise you have COVID-19 related symptoms

You have a temperature above 100.4

Due to your elevated temperature, it is recommended that you:

  1. Do not report to work.
  2. Contact your manager to advise you will not be at work.
  3. Seek guidance from your Primary Care Physician or the City of Memphis Employee Clinic at 1520 Union Ave for medical assistance.
  4. Contact 901-636-6800 to advise you have COVID-19 related symptoms

You have recently traveled outside of Shelby County

Due to your recent travel, it is recommended that you:

  1. Do not report to work.
  2. Contact your manager to advise you will not be at work.
  3. Seek guidance from your Primary Care Physician or the City of Memphis Employee Clinic at 1520 Union Ave for medical assistance.

You been exposed to someone who has COVID-19
